This is your session from 6 November. Open your “Waterspeed export” folder with the button above to load every session, see how your time on foil is trending, and open any session in detail.
Drag across the trace to mark a run. Click inside a run to remove it. Changes are saved in this browser.
Hover the track or the speed trace to see the same moment in both. Click a flight in the table to zoom to it.

GPX files carry no foil sensor, so flights are found from speed. You lift off once speed reaches the take-off speed and count as foiling until it drops below the touch-down speed. Anything above the driving speed for more than a few seconds, on land, is treated as a car and removed, along with the slow-down and speed-up around it. Out on the water any speed counts, so fast riders aren't mistaken for cars.
Each session is then trimmed to its downwind runs. Your flights show which way downwind was, and a run is the stretch where you were heading that way, from the paddle-in to your first flight until you stop or turn off the line for more than four minutes. Paddling out across or against the wind, waiting, time ashore and driving are left out. Anything clearly on land is ashore. Walking along the beach is recognised by its unusually steady speed (2.5 to 8 km/h, varying by less than 0.3 km/h over a minute, for at least 90 seconds) and by where you are: it has to be on land or within 50 m of the water's edge, using OpenStreetMap's shoreline. A smooth paddle out on the water stays a paddle. The shoreline is fetched from OpenFreeMap the first time a spot appears and kept in this browser. Travelling 150 m or more back upwind between flights starts a new run.
